I also ran out of time to exercise and count carbs. In short, me being lazy with my health resulted in me gaining over 20 pounds! The final straw was when I reached an 8.0 on my hemoglobin A1C test. After that happened, I decided it was in my best interest to get back on track, put both my feet on the ground, take responsibility for my decline in health and most of all, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
I started counting carbs again, I am also trying not to eat any empty calories, no more white flower,no more fatty foods, I will miss you cheese enchiladas! Doing all of this helped me get my A1C down to a 6.8 in a very short amount of time. I also started exercising again, but have yet to see any weight loss. I feel great, I love the feeling I get after a good run, the endorphins are awesome, they make you feel great the rest of the day if I choose to run in the morning. Doing that also gives me a negative calorie burn so I start out the day right. I am also currently tracking my health at My Fitness Pal my user name there is in10city Most other places, you can find me under my normal title of Diabetic_Dude
